| Job Description |
The faculty member performs teaching duties for the College; conducts and assesses instruction; assists students through academic advising; establishes, posts, and maintains office hours; and provides leadership for the development, growth, and support of the assigned area.
Other duties include supporting the mission, vision and values of the College and policies of the Board of Trustees; serving on various College committees, task forces and other groups; and participating in various official College ceremonies and meetings.
The faculty member is responsible for teaching Cybersecurity, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, and Computer Information courses.
This is a 10-month, tenure-track position, which will begin in August 2026.

| Required Education |
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance or related field is required. |
| Required Experience |
At least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting, in cybersecurity/information systems security, information assurance and computer information courses
- Experience in emerging approaches to instruction and delivery of cybersecurity/information systems security and information assurance courses required.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
One or more relevant industry certifications, including but not limited to, Cisco Certified Network Associate (
CCNA),
CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (
CEH), and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications required. |
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in cybersecurity/information systems security course and program development preferred
- Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) certification.
- Experience in teaching using an online Learning Management System.
- Teaching experience at the high school level.

| General Weekly Work Schedule |
Full-time faculty teach 15 contact hours weekly in Fall and Spring semester and hold a minimum of five office hours per week. Course schedule as assigned. |
