Shore United Bank is seeking a full-timeEmployee Relations and Development Support to join our team. This role provides administrative and coordination support to the Employee Engagement and Relations Manager in carrying out employee relations and performance management initiatives.Responsibilities include scheduling, tracking, and maintaining documentation for HR programs, as well as conducting meetings when needed. The position helps ensure the effective and consistent execution of processes that support employee development.

Essential Functions Include:



  • Administrative support of employee relations and performance management

    • Administer all stages of the discipline process
    • Partner with manager on employment related legal matters
    • Conduct thorough, effective and unbiased investigations in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations and procedures
    • Assist with oversight of the company's performance management and appraisal processes
    • Provide guidance to leaders on the company's employment policies
    • Provide counseling and coaching to managers related to employee conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination


  • Career Development and Talent Support

    • Track and monitor progress on individual development plans
    • Coordinate enrollment and attendance for training programs, workshops, and development activities.
    • Support the implementation of career development tools and resources.
    • Organize and maintain employee development records and documentation.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of HR systems related to development and employee relations.
    • Communicate with managers as needed to support employee relations and development.


  • Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with great care.
  • Demonstrates values and principles of Shore United Bank.


Location: Westgate Building - 200 Westgate Circle, Suite 200, Annapolis, MD 21401

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:



  • Full-time.
  • Non-exempt.
  • Days of Work: Monday-Friday.


Required Education and Experience:



  • 2 + years of administrative experience, preferably in HR or a related field.
  • Familiarity with employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change management and/or culture initiatives.
  • BS/BA in business administration, human resources management or relevant field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, laws/regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred


Compensation:



  • The pay range for this position is $27.88 to $40.87 hourly.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
