Technical Writer Reston, VA MUST: Experienced Technical Writer 4 plus years of Technical Writing experience Strong experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Healthcare writing background is necessary Federal or Government background helpful Bachelors Degree DUTIES: Writes, edits, and finalizes documents in support of federal regulatory actions, for viewing by senior Government leaders and the public. Coordinates with rulemaking teams, drafts and edits documents, primarily for rulemaking projects such as Federal Register publications in accordance with the Federal Register Document Drafting Handbook. Drafts and edits other documents including reports, articles, briefing papers, in-house studies, congressional reports and memoranda, concept papers, and work plans. Prepares draft documents in line with the GPO Style Manual, Strunk and White Elements of Style, and Federal plain language guidelines. Coordinates closely with Economists, Environmental Analysts and Project Counsels to draft documents for regulatory actions. *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
