Wieland is hiring a Slitting Trainer. The Slitting Trainer will be responsible for training the slitting team. This role is located in Reading, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: 27.75

Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift

Pay Schedule: 3:00-11:00

Slitter Trainer Responsibilities:

To produce products which meet or exceed customer specifications at an acceptable productivity level.
• To comply with all safety regulations while in the plant.
• To review the mill card prior to processing in order to understand the requirements of slitting material.
• To set up the assigned equipment and slit the material in accordance with the work instructions located at the equipment site.
• As team leader, to provide guidance and instructions to team members as necessary.
• To complete all quality checks and to enter the required information onto the mill card and slitting evaluation form.
• To assist the general mill hand in maintaining a smooth flow of production.
• To comply with the Heyco Quality System at all times during processing.
• To keep the slitter and slitter area clean.

Slitter Trainer Qualifications:

• Be an A-rate slitter at 85% plus productivity
• High school diploma
• Ablity to work first or second shift
