What You'll Do



Essential Functions:

  • Learn how DCU processes and manages collateral documentation, including titles and Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) activities.
  • Assist with tasks associated with the Title Tracking Program and Collateral Protection Program, gaining familiarity with the systems and checkpoints used to manage collateral.
  • Support the review and organization of collateralrelated mail, digital documents, and member or dealer submissions.
  • Help process service requests such as state changes, name changes, duplicate titles, title copies, and CPI total loss inquiries.
  • Assist in preparing documentation packages.
  • Review and assist with collateralrelated reports, such as missing titles, import errors, unrecognized items, discrepant data, and CPI reports (billing, premiums, refunds, class reports, and payment changes).
  • Observe and support lien placement fee audits and lease buyout title documentation.
  • Gain exposure to crossdepartment communication by supporting phone coverage and assisting internal partners with basic collateral inquiries



What You'll Need




  • Ability to commit to one of the full internship program periods: May 18 through August 14 or June 1 through August 21
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Build practical, handson experience by assisting with collateral management tasks, title documentation, and Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) activities.

  • Strengthen your teamwork and collaboration skills
