SUMMARY

This is an Opportunity on the Kenosha Campus The Divisional Associate for Student Affairs is responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and project support to the Student Affairs functional areas. This position plays a vital role in supporting student success by providing coordinated communication and operational support for Student Affairs Division while adhering to confidentiality. This position helps ensure the student experience is seamless, responsive, and well-organized by supporting cross-department collaboration, managing processes, and assisting with initiatives that promote access, inclusiveness and student engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
- Provide administrative and operational support for all Student Affairs departments, supporting the full range of divisional systems and processes to ensure efficiency, data integrity, confidentiality, compliance, and a student-centered service experience.
- Provide responsive front-line support to callers and visitors and serve as a liaison between the functional area and internal departments, individuals, and external institutions and agencies.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, serving as a central point of contact and resolving or routing inquiries as appropriate.
- Support cross-department collaboration by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, documenting outcomes, providing training on student services systems, and tracking action items.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of student-focused programs, initiatives, and events that promote access, inclusion, and engagement.
- Collect, organize, and prepare data, reports, and documentation to support assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITION

Required:
- Associates Degree and one (1) year experience in an administrative support role
OR
- Three (3) years experience in an administrative support role
PLUS
Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Ability to use standard office and institutional software applications, and to efficiently identify, diagnose, and resolve basic hardware, software, and system issues. Ability to effectively communicate: organizational, interpersonal, written and oral Ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively with internal and external customers Ability to exercise judgement in carrying out assignments and procedures with minimum supervision Refined ability to self-manage work to consistently meet multiple deadlines and timely completion of work and projects Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to recognize, research and analyze problems Must maintain a high level of confidentiality to ensure confidentiality Ability to adhere to the policies and procedures of the college

DIVISION/LOCATION: Student Affairs/Kenosha COMP GRADE: 26 FLSA DESIGNATION: Non-Exempt CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Engage in district-wide travel to support students and foster collaboration with Gateway faculty and staff.
- Employment is contingent upon an acceptable background
