You will greet drivers and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry and exit logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to help to deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, confirming authorization, and directing traffic flow at entrances and gates.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Monitor entry points and security-related systems, verify identification and credentials, issue temporary passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yards, trailer rows, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing loading and staging areas for unusual activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and completing required reports and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
