Organization, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our growing HVAC construction operations. This role is ideal for an early-career construction professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to complex mechanical projects while working alongside experienced Project Managers and field leadership.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in project planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution-helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while supporting the company's continued growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer supports Project Managers and field teams throughout the full project lifecycle, including:

  • Assist Project Managers and Project Executives with assigned HVAC construction projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Superintendents and Foremen
  • Track project progress by monitoring planned vs. actual schedules and project costs
  • Prepare, submit, and track submittals through approval processes
  • Support job cost control efforts to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate pre-construction communication between engineering, estimating, and construction teams
  • Participate in project meetings and provide documentation support
  • Assist with estimating, bidding, pricing, and project negotiations as needed
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Help support business development and customer relationship initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Up to 3 years of construction or project engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and/or Plumbing systems
  • Understanding of construction methods, building systems, and industry regulations
  • Experience with construction management software platforms preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to see both project details and overall objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with conflict resolution and project challenges
