We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our architecture team and to help drive the future of our Marketing Technology strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing automation, data management, and architecture concerns. You will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions and will be responsible for defining the target state vision, creating a roadmap for achieving it, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. This will be an opportunity will play a critical role in shaping the future of our marketing technology capabilities and driving business growth.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Vision and Strategy:

    • Define and articulate the target state architecture for our marketing technology stack, with a focus on integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Data360 along with external service providers to create seamless customer journeys, personalized marketing campaigns, and efficient customer service processes.

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the transition from the current state to the target state, including transitional architectures and key milestones.

    • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements and architectural designs.

    • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including solution designs, data models, and integration maps. Enforce architectural governance and standards.

  • Current State Analysis and Documentation:

    • Conduct a thorough assessment of the current state marketing technology landscape, including all existing systems, vendor solutions, and data flows.

    • Create detailed documentation of the current state architecture to provide a clear understanding of the existing environment.

  • Data Strategy and Management:

    • Define and drive a consolidated set of data requirements to support all marketing processes and ensure data quality and consistency enabling end-to-end business processes

    • Develop a strong foundation for data management, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance. Including

  • Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on architectural decisions and project priorities.

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Solution Architecture or similar role, with of marketing technology.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and data management platforms such as Data360.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise and systems architecture principles and best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and work with data at a detailed level as it is leveraged across end-to-end processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in developing and executing a technology roadmap.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other relevant Salesforce certifications.

  • Experience with other Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft.

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

  • Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
