WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Home Mortgage division is focused on the fast-paced and highly-regulated home mortgage market. Loans originated in this division are originated and underwritten to national standards established by divisions of the federal government (e.g. USDA, VA, FHA), government-sponsored enterprises (e.g. FNMA and FHLMC) and large institutional investors. This position is responsible for all coordinating closing schedules, drawing document packages and funding first mortgages. Review critical closing information, ensure data is accurate, work with title companies to resolve issues, verify all closing conditions are met, and approve funding. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm at our Burnsville Administrative Office or Plymouth Corporate Office locations; non-exempt. In addition:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or four years of equivalent work experience in the mortgage lending field.
- Two years of experience in conventional and portfolio loan closing, including FNMA and FHLMC.
- 2 years of working experience on Encompass post TRID.
- FHA/VA/MHFA/USDA experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of mortgage documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A high level of business acumen with the ability to develop strong relationships with borrowers, branch personnel and industry partners.
- Ability to identify and facilitate change in a deadline driven, highly regulated environment.
- Competency in basic math and technology skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with and balance data in a variety of loan systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet externally influenced deadlines.
- Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
- Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
WHAT WE OFFER: The salary range for this position is $19.50 to $24.00per hour. In addition, we offer:
