Description

Job purpose



The Facilities Project Coordinator will provide support, planning and assist with the project management of facility projects, including facility upgrades, changes, reconfigurations and renovations. The Facilities Project Coordinator will work with the Director of Admin Services to establish timelines, budgets and resources for projects, ensuring design and construction optimizes company goals.



Duties and responsibilities




  • Ensure all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget
  • Work with facility and maintenance management to develop department and project budgets
  • Work with personnel in other internal departments to schedule projects in the allotted time
  • Coordinate the construction procurement process
  • Maintain digital project files on assigned projects and capital planning initiatives
  • Oversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
  • Develop schedules for all facility improvement projects and work with management to keep schedules current
  • Assist with production of CAD drawings for all facilities
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of personnel and equipment moves
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors
  • Assist with facility inspections, capital improvement planning and quoting for budgets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the facilities, construction, project coordination, or design industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, education, and training
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows based environment, particularly Excel and Word
  • Travel required, including overnight stay, as necessary (Frequency of travel varies depending on workload)

  • Must pay close attention to details and accuracy
