Overview

The Maintenance Administrator dispatches technicians to Bulk and Propane Plants, Petrocard operations and Break Time locations for maintenance needs. This position also coordinates field service calls, schedules plant and station maintenance, manages service work orders, ensures accurate entry, obtains approval of service orders, and tracks maintenance asset inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Answer service calls and dispatch technicians to bulk and propane pants (BPLP), Petrocard stations and/or Break Time Convenience Stores, following up to verify timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance service orders and manage internal preventative maintenance projects, including but not limited to tank inspections, line and leak detector tests, and filter replacement, to ensure all are completed in a timely manner.
  • Trouble shoot service calls using established protocols, escalating and assigning resources as appropriate.
  • Enter BPLP and Petrocard service orders into JD Edwards Enterprise One.
  • Receive, finalize and approve completed service orders making corrections as needed.
  • Perform equipment/asset transfers for warehouse and BPLP plants when related to maintenance or service projects.
  • Communicate appropriately with Break Time Maintenance Manager on work order progress and processing of the work orders.
  • Process expense vouchers from the technicians ensuring each expense has a corresponding receipt.
  • Coordinate orders, review and pay invoices, and monitor delivery confirmations for all plant and station level supplies required for maintenance or service projects.
  • Order new assets as requested and approved, work with technicians to determine if equipment can be repaired and then coordinate the new orders for unrepairable property.
  • Generate reports as directed.
  • Work closely with assigned business units to ensure any issues are communicated quickly to the responsible parties.
  • Keep accurate records of all Payment Card Industry (PCI) defined equipment and their location at all times.
  • All MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures. While this job description contains the primary duties of the position, employees may be expected to perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous maintenance, customer service, or office experience.
  • Familiarity with facility and equipment service-related issues.
  • Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule on holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to meet Company requirements, including successful pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards' programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management skills.
  • Ability to perform detail work with accuracy and grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Ability to set priorities and goals and develop plans for achieving them.
