You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Partnering closely with SCLs to identify, onboard, and develop new supplier partners that accelerate product launches in the ancillary furniture category.
- Managing supplier relationships and contracts from negotiation through launch.
- Implementing supply chains that support new product development models and speedtomarket strategies.
- Supporting strategic decisionmaking for growth initiatives beyond Steelcase's core manufacturing business.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing to create endtoend solutions for new design launches.
- Ensuring cost, quality, sustainability, compliance, and design intent are maintained while optimizing localization strategies.
- Enabling rapid and reliable concepttocommercialization execution across teams.
Minimum Quialifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain processes and manufacturing
- Experience with negotiation and managing supplier-customer relationships.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Familiarity with supply chain operations such as manufacturing, logistics, quality, and order management.
- Applicants must be authorized to work fulltime in the United States. Steelcase does not sponsor visas for this role.
Desired Skills / Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Furniture manufacturing process experience - a strong plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across crossfunctional teams at all levels.
- Strong prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Analytical, problemsolving, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently within a matrixed environment.
- Understanding of lean concepts and process flow development.
- Initiative to maintain accuracy and high work standards.
