Description and Requirements

The NA Marketing team is responsible for driving the Lenovo brand forward by driving brand awareness, consideration and conversion with our commercial audience. To support this business objective, the NA Media Org is seeking a Commercial Media Manager to facilitate smart and effective media plans to support Lenovo's North America Commercial business.

We're looking for a results-driven Media Manager to organize the strategy and delivery of paid media campaigns. This individual will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue through paid media strategies that are performance-focused and data-driven.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders from NA Marketing, WW Brand, Media COE, etc. To brief, plan, execute and report on commercial media campaigns.
  • Manage the overall commercial media budget in NA
  • Look for ways to optimize the process of planning, executing, and concluding campaigns as well as taking ownership of new processes that streamline operations, improve employee and agency team experience, and allow us to delight our customers.
  • Partner with the segment marketing manager, media agency, alliance partners, and other stakeholders in management and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Be a resource for delivering and troubleshooting support for marketing campaigns, including creative delivery, CID management, landing page testing, and other necessary technical integrations related to digital campaigns so that proper utilization, reporting, and optimization of all campaigns occur.
  • Provide support as necessary in the form of audit and compliance tasks, reviewing and updating documentation, reporting, etc., and identify issues and resolutions from this support.
  • Proactively manage the interaction between all assigned segment and project team members to ensure the whole team is moving forward on the same page and that the details of projects are accounted for.
  • In concert with marketing operations and segment marketing, QA media budgets to ensure optimal buying and accurate implementation of co-marketing funds

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management, account management, and budget management in a marketing organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong project management skills, as your responsibilities will include both budget and compliance management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the creative process in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic terms and concepts associated with modern media marketing campaigns.
  • Mentoring and/or training experience a plus.
  • Understanding of tagging tools, best practices, taxonomy, and governance.
  • Creative problem-solver with proven ability to effectively lead and negotiate at all levels.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected and maintain a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of what is necessary and appropriate to deliver goals (requires understanding beyond basic timeline adherence and extends into understanding when exceptions and escalations are necessary).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex or technical concepts to a non-technical business audience.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
  • Strong at building and maintaining positive business relationships
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and data visualization skills
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $100-125 K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
