Candidate will support Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires in planning, scheduling and executing the operations of the PAE Fires Headquarters at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.The candidate will work in the PAE Fires HQ element as a trusted advisor and action officer directly supporting the Director of Operations (GS-15), the Chief of Staff (GS-15), PAE Deputy Director (SES-2) and the PAE Director (O-9).Candidate will provide input and recommendations for establishing and refining the processes and business rules that will facilitate efficient operations across the entire organization which is in Redstone Arsenal and Detroit Arsenal.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in the PAE Fires Headquarters Staff cell directly supporting the PAEs Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, PAE Deputy Director, and the PAE's Director. Provide guidance and recommendations on establishing processes and procedures that permit efficient and streamlined operations of multiple SES and O-6-led project offices that are being incorporated into the PAE Fires organization.
  • Serve as the Director of Operation's and Chief of Staff's direct representative in the HSV headquarters. Attend and participate in PAE Fires Senior Staff meetings as directed and provide recommendations based on your best military advice.
  • Review daily, and update as necessary, the PAE FIRES master event calendar to facilitate efficient PAEF Fires Operations and mission execution.
  • Use the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), Microsoft Outlook Calendar tool, PAE Fires SharePoint tools, Microsoft Office, and other planning tools in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and guidance provided. Coordinate daily with PAE Fires and other product office staff performing similar functions at other PAE Fires locations.
  • Prepare briefing materials, support meetings, schedule conference rooms, schedule and support teleconferences and video teleconferences and other support tasks as directed.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and execute senior leader visits and events on a regular and irregular basis dependent on mission requirements.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on establishing processes that permit efficient and streamlined operations of multiple GO/FO/SES and O-6-led product leads and offices.
  • Collaborate with higher and lateral staff elements to ensure seamless execution of operational tasks.
  • Analyze operational processes, identify issues, suggest solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide operational support to various departments. Assist in the implementation of new operational strategies.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure operational goals are met.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Experience with using MS Sharepoint, Outlook, and the MS Office suite of programs.
  • Experience with Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
  • The ability to work independently is necessary for this position.
  • Experience working in an organizational Headquarters run by a general officer or SES.
  • Experience working in a S-3/G-3 Operations Department at/above the BN level.
  • Former Army experience is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize important, competing tasks and information.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
  • Travel: 10%
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree;Master's Degree (DESIRED).Project Management Professional (DESIRED) Clearance Requirements: Secret clearance, TS/SCI clearance (DESIRED).Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
