JOB TITLE: Mobility Engineer

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DHS ICE - OSDSS

POSITION INFORMATION: Full time

LOCATION: Remote

POSITION TIMING: Candidate must obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance, which typically takes 4 to 6+ weeks to process. Clearance must be fully granted before starting on the program.

We are seeking a Mobility Engineer to support enterprise mobile device management (MDM) operations in a secure, mission-driven environment. This role is focused on Microsoft Intune administration, end-user device lifecycle management, compliance enforcement, and secure access configuration across enterprise mobility platforms.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing mobile deployments at scale, administering user groups and access policies, and ensuring device compliance within Microsoft Intune and Entra ID environments. Experience supporting Tactical Access Kit (TAK) solutions is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Administer and manage enterprise mobile devices using Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, configuration, compliance enforcement, and lifecycle management.
  • Configure and manage user groups, device groups, and access policies within Intune and Entra ID.
  • Oversee mobile device deployments, updates, application packaging, and distribution across supported platforms.
  • Implement and maintain mobile security policies, conditional access rules, and compliance standards.
  • Manage application deployments, updates, and access controls within enterprise mobility environments.
  • Support integration with Microsoft Entra ID and O365, ensuring secure authentication and identity management.
  • Monitor device health, compliance status, and security posture; troubleshoot and resolve mobility-related issues.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure mobile solutions align with enterprise security frameworks.
  • Provide Tier II/Tier III mobility support for end users as needed.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing mobile deployments, compliance policies, device configurations, and security controls.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and O365 integration.
  • Experience managing user groups, access policies, and conditional access controls.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills related to mobile device management and secure access.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

DESIRED:

  • Experience supporting or administering Tactical Access Kit (TAK)
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobility security best practices and Zero Trust principles.
  • Experience automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
  • Experience working in a federal or highly regulated environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
