Job Summary and Responsibilities

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Assists federal/state agency environmental certification, registration and compliance reporting activity
  • Assists in the facilitation of product registration or reporting activities, including Packaging EPR, Chemicals, e-waste, and energy related subjects.
  • Assist to conduct internal audit, benchmarking and data requests
  • Process vendor invoices related to environmental compliance (e-waste, product certification, etc.)


Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience supporting regulatory, finance, marketing, sales, or other operational departments. Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred.(Regulatory, Environmental, Chemistry, Engineering)
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to summarize new content concisely. Ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
  • Must have Strong computer skills with the ability to work within internal and external IT systems; Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (strong Excel skills is a must). Experience with MS SharePoint is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct online research on new topics.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and organize multiple competing tasks.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop
