Seasoner - 2nd Shift

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Seasoner to work from our manufacturing facility located in Wilkes Barre, PA on 2nd shift. As a Seasoner, this candidate will be responsible for operation of spice machines assuring consistent flow of spice application.

This position is scheduled to work Mon-Fri 2:30 PM- 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors and fills spice machines as necessary.
• Ensures that there is consistent flow of potato chips on conveyor and correct amount of spice flowing onto chips.
• Makes sure the salts are within standard.
• Maintains accurate records of spices used.
• Responsible to keep spices with allergens stored away from other spices.
• Communicates frequently with inspectors, packers, packaging machine operators and quality assurance lab to guarantee product quality

Requirements

• English proficiency, required
• Spanish proficiency, highly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices, GMPs, and SQF requirements
