Overview

Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We invest hundreds of millions of dollars annually to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers.

Con Edisons Non-Pipes Alternative (NPA) team identifies, develops and operates building electrification and energy efficiency programs that defer or eliminate the need for investment in traditional natural gas infrastructure solutions. These programs provide environmental and economic benefits to Con Edisons electric and gas distribution systems. The team manages several NPA programs including Electric Advantage, Energy Exchange, and Area Load Relief.

The NPA Strategy Team is seeking to hire a senior specialist. The team oversees strategy and stakeholder engagement for the Companys suite of NPA programs. The Non-Pipes Alternatives Sr. Specialist will connect engineering, operations, and policy so New Yorkers can reduce carbon emissions where its needed most. Your work will turn stakeholder feedback and operational insights into practical changes to make building decarbonization simpler for customers. This is an exciting role to demonstrate your abilities to drive results, apply cross-disciplinary skills to decarbonize the building sector, and gain firsthand experience with the clean energy transition.
