Supply Chain Project Specialist

The Opportunity:

In this role, you'll support supply chain projects and help coordinate activities across different teams and functions within the organization. You'll play a key role in supporting program operations while contributing to broader supply chain initiatives with a focus on systems, process improvement, and collaboration.

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Project Specialist with a foundational understanding of project coordination and a passion for problem-solving. Strong communication and organizational skills will be essential as you work to keep projects on track and meet quality expectations. What You'll Do:

  • Assistwith facilitating communicationbetween program teams,Global Supply Chain (GSC) operationsand Procurement, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Support team efforts toidentifyopportunities for process improvements andassistwith implementing enhancements to improve supply chain efficiency.

  • Help build andmaintainrelationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suppliers by supporting day-to-day communications and tasks.

  • Manage supplier performance metrics and promptly report any risks or concerns to senior members for escalation.

  • Assistin tracking and documenting supplier quality issues, such as defective parts or delivery delays, ensuringaccurateinformation for resolution.

  • Help coordinate the resolution process for defects by supporting efforts from internal teams and suppliersandassistingwith corrective action documentation.

  • Maintain organized andaccuratedocumentation by performing data entry tasks and contributing tointernal performance dashboards or reports.

  • Participate in internal daily and escalation meetings by taking notes, documenting follow-up action items, andassistingwith meeting preparation tasks.

  • Supportthe procurement process byassistingwith purchase requests and ensuring compliance with procurement system standards under supervision.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams toidentifyand execute opportunities for bulk purchasing strategies aimed at leveraging volume discounts.

You Have:

  • 5+years of experience in supply chain management or project management

  • Experience owningprocess improvement initiativeswithin supply chain

  • Experiencefacilitatingcollaboration between cross-functional teams and external suppliers

  • Experience creating reports,maintainingdashboards, and preparing presentations

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of concepts like supplier performance, quality management, and risk mitigation

  • Bachelor'sdegree

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+years of experience using JIRA or other project management software and tools

  • 2+years ofexperience usingInfor Source-to-Pay or Costpoint Manufacturing

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
