Your future starts here. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: In this position, you will perform Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drafting of railroad bridge component work using AutoCAD. You will ensure that bridge component design work is completed in accordance with CPKC standards. This position will be based primarily in Kansas City, Missouri. As a strong front-line leader, you will cultivate a culture of safety, reliability, and excellence while ensuring smooth operations within the structures department and supporting the safe, efficient movement of the railway network. Management Conductor Program Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
