Job Title: Campus Support - Customer Service Representative (CSR) *Workplace Type:* On-site
*Location:* 1500 South Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204 *Category:* Healthcare Customer Service Overview We are hiring *10 Customer Service Representatives* for a special project supporting the *Campus Support Center* in Glendale, CA. This team will work alongside *8 full-time staff members* to deliver high-quality patient outreach, care coordination, and administrative support. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven role focused on improving patient access and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities * Conduct outbound patient calls for: * Pharmacy refill confirmations * Annual Wellness Visit scheduling * Emergency Room (ER) outreach for frequent ER visitors * New authorizations and other leadership-driven initiatives * Accurately enter, update, and manage patient and project data in *Excel* and internal systems * Perform *insurance and benefit verifications*, including prior authorization support * Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care activities * Collaborate with Campus Support Center staff to ensure timely and effective patient outreach * Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all patient interactions Required Qualifications (Must-Have Skills) * Customer service experience in a *healthcare and/or call center environment* * *Experience with prior authorizations* and *insurance/benefit verification* * *Proficiency in Microsoft Excel*, including hide, copy, paste, and filter functions * Strong data entry, scheduling, and documentation skills * Working knowledge of *medical terminology* * *Excellent communication skills and attention to detail* Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have Skills) * Experience supporting special projects or project coordination * Broader medical, clinical, or healthcare administrative experience * Familiarity with patient outreach or care coordination initiatives Schedule * *Monday-Friday*, with *Saturday availability required for the first two months* of the project Why Join Us You'll be part of a *high-impact healthcare support team* focused on meaningful patient outreach and special initiatives.
