The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Clinical Navigator is a Registered Nurse with experience in oncology services who navigates patients throughout the process of the continuum of cancer care from diagnosis, treatment, to survivorship in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and according to agreed clinical guidelines, with the objective of coordinating high quality patient care across all care delivery sites,

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New Jersey license
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent clinical experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • 5 years experience in a similar nurse navigator or nurse coordinator role preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
  • No weekends, No Late Shifts
  • Hospital Holidays Observed

Essential Functions:

  • Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, interpreter, educator, and counselor for the oncology patients,
  • Responsible for ensuring all adult patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services,
  • Serve as a clinical resource in hematology/oncology care management,
  • Serves as a single point of contact/liaison throughout the facility- for referring physicians, patients, caregivers, and in the community regarding services provided for the identified patient population,
  • Provide expert nursing care, which includes: direct clinical practice, consultation, education, care coordination, education and research,
