Kyocera International, Inc. is hiring a Production Scheduler our Hendersonville, NC facility!

This role is responsible for building and managing the production schedule in a precision ceramics manufacturing environment, supporting both production and prototype work.

This is a hands-on scheduling role where you'll work closely with production, engineering, and customer-facing teams to keep jobs moving and deliveries on track.

Pay Range: $18 to $26 per hour (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills.)

What You'll Do


  • Build and maintain daily and weekly production schedules

  • Create and release work orders in SAP

  • Prioritize jobs based on customer delivery requirements

  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and leadership on capacity and priorities

  • Communicate schedule updates, risks, and changes to Sales and Customer Service

  • Adjust lead times based on current capacity and constraints



How You'll Contribute


  • Balance machine capacity, labor, and materials to support on-time delivery

  • Identify and address scheduling conflicts early

  • Ensure materials are available for scheduled work

  • Adjust schedules as priorities change

  • Track and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance

  • Provide clear updates in production meetings



Day-to-Day


  • Review and release work orders in SAP

  • Work with production, QA, and engineering to resolve issues

  • Update scheduling tools, production boards, and inventory status

  • Coordinate job flow, tooling, and documentation on the floor



What We're Looking For


  • Experience in production scheduling, planning, or a similar manufacturing role

  • Understanding of production flow, capacity, and materials planning

  • ERP experience (SAP preferred)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to adjust priorities and work through constraints



What You'll Bring:



  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Ability to read and follow verbal/written instructions in English
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
  • Willingness to wear clean-room apparel (finger cots, masks, etc.)
  • Physical capability to meet production demands, including extended standing or walking, routine movement and positioning, fine motor skills for handling small parts and tools, and lifting up to 30 lbs., as required
  • Eligibility to work in an ITAR-regulated environment
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
