| Position Summary |
This is a time-limited position that is guaranteed employment for a year,and after that is contingent on obtaining additional funding. The Prosecutors and Politics Program is a research initiative at UNC Law School. The Project aims to increase our understanding of the relationship between prosecutors and politics through empirical study and careful analysis. Students work closely with faculty to collect data, collaborate with other organizations, and publicly share information that increases academic and public knowledge about elected prosecutors and broader criminal justice issues. The Project Manager will report directly to the Project's Faculty Director. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Management Preferences |
Knowledge of appropriate business practices and procedures, particularly those governed under North Carolina state prosecutors and/or the criminal justice policies.
Financial management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Experience in planning and managing a business and/or center, preferably in an academic setting. |
