Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Business Management group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as an ASSURANCE COORDINATOR. Under the direction of the Policy and Assurance Manager, you will support the execution of Financial Operations' Assurance Program. Our team works an on-site 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off! Responsibilities Include: * Plan and execute annual risk-based self-assessments and targeted reviews to address management concerns * Conduct comprehensive self-assessments including risk evaluation, developing lines of inquiry, performing testing procedures, consulting with subject matter experts, and preparing memoranda with actionable recommendations for management * Maintain and update organizational risk registers and internal control frameworks * Identify and implement continuous monitoring processes and conduct data analytics and surveillance activities * Track, report, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage corrective action plans * Support software implementation projects, system upgrades, and testing initiatives * Contribute to the annual assessment of internal controls in compliance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 Qualifications - External Minimum Requirements: Level 1: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Level 2: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience. * Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and internal controls * Requires understanding and experience of OMB Circular A-123, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, or demonstrated experience with similar compliance frameworks * Proven ability to develop innovative solutions and work effectively in team-based environments * Excellent ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels * Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills * Requires understanding of financial systems, processes, and controls. * Requires a demonstrated ability to be innovative and team oriented and the ability to interface with all levels of management. * This position requires extensive communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Job Information: The pay range for this position is: * Level 1: Salary Grade 410 ($47,424 - $92,568) * Level 2: Salary Grade 420 ($57,444 - $112,068) * At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials. * Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills. * Chosen applicants are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment. Physical Requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, operate a computer keyboard or type, handle materials, or reach with hands and arms performing the essential functions of the classification. The duties require sitting for long periods, accessing stored file boxes and file cabinets and moving and organizing physical file materials. The employee must occasionally lift 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, conduct research and inspect materials. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions, communicate effectively in person, by telephone or electronic mail. While performing the duties of this classification, the employee works in an office setting where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
