Position Description: Participate in the pursuit of new business by coordinating manufacturing inputs for proposal development Activities include estimating direct labor, estimating equipment and tooling, generating persuasive rational to support pricing and participates directly in the negotiation process with the customer Develop and analyze manufacturing labor tracking, monitor performance and coordinate corrective actions when required Provide contractual reporting as required for performance metrics Coordinate with internal and external customers LeveragePower BIfor data visualization and reporting to support decision-making Utilize internal AI-driven toolsand programming to enhance forecasting, data analysis, and process automation Interface across all levels of leadership by reporting on new business opportunities and explaining basis of estimate Occasional travel to our manufacturing plants Position Requirements: BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Technology or similar degree Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience High degree of P/C skills required to include PowerPoint and Excel High attention to detail and noticing discrepancies Must have the ability to move freely and feel comfortable in a manufacturing plant Experience working with tight timelines, manufacturing plants, and different business units Occasional Travel to our manufacturing plants Must be authorized to work in the US Company Information: General Dynamics is a successful Fortune 100, global aerospace and defense company, with over 90,000 employees world-wide.
