Job Description

A non-medical home care agency in Northeast Ohio is hiring a Home Care Marketer to build and grow referral relationships across the Akron/Cleveland territory. This is a new position supporting a newly opened entity, and the person in this role will help build the marketing function from the ground up.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage referral relationships with case managers, discharge planners, hospitals, senior living communities, rehab centers, physicians, and other community partners
  • Conduct in-person visits, outreach calls, and follow-up to generate referrals and maintain partnerships
  • Build and execute territory outreach/marketing plans to increase referral volume and community awareness
  • Represent the agency at community events, networking meetings, health fairs, and senior-focused events
  • Provide education/presentations to referral sources, professionals, and families on home care services
  • Track referral activity, outreach efforts, and follow-up status
  • Collaborate with internal teams (intake, coordination, HR/recruiting, payroll/billing, operations) to support client onboarding
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Requirements
  • 3+ years of home care marketing experience
  • Proven success building referral sources (case managers, discharge planners, hospitals, senior living communities, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs, managed care organizations (MCOs), and home care services
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding referral growth targets through outreach, follow-up, and territory management
  • Able to work independently in a start-up/growth environment
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
Preferred
  • Experience in agencies serving both skilled and non-skilled home care
  • Familiarity with HHA Exchange (or similar systems such as Homecare Homebase, KanTime, Axxess)

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
