The VS Program Process Coordinator (PPC) is a point of connection between Veteran Services and OSHS operational and support departments related explicitly to veteran or service member travel for the MDE Contracts. The primary function of this role is to manage and coordinate travel needs for Veterans or service members needing assistance with either ground or air travel. The PPC identifies options, performs outreach to companies that meet the criteria for light ambulatory services and medically necessary travel, negotiates rates, ensures acceptance of the VA Program team, and communicates travel plans with Veterans. With the functions outlined, this role directly impacts OSHS's MDE travel budget by creating expenses and reconciling reimbursements. Second, the PPC monitors, responds to documentation, and processes updates from the VA to ensure MDE Exam Requests are working through their lifecycle to meet contractual KPIs, including continuous monitoring of the Report tools. Coordinates with other teams in Veteran Services for the investigation and resolution of Veteran Complaints. The Coordinator will identify, research, and troubleshoot simple issues / changes and determine if a change request, communication, etc., is the appropriate next step for resolution. For complex matters, the Analyst will escalate and interpret the situation, develop actionable insights, and present recommendations for Veteran Services Leadership and subject matter experts to determine the next steps. This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. We offer 3 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule. Primary Responsibilities:
