Security Officer - Gated Community Patrol

As a Security Officer - Gated Community Patrol in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate for an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and entry systems when assigned, and document observations, incidents, and corrective actions in daily logs and reports.
• Support shipping and receiving and contractor activity by verifying credentials, directing traffic flow as permitted, and enforcing posted rules related to restricted areas and key control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
