As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations. You will be a professional point of contact for employees and visitors, communicating clearly and responding to concerns with a customer-first mindset. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity reports, and/or medical incidents, and request public emergency services when needed.
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and visitor check-in processes to help to maintain orderly flow of people and protect sensitive work areas common to technology-focused locations.
• Complete detailed reports and activity logs, document incidents, and communicate observations and/or recommendations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
