Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers and associates with top-tier customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with store teams, and respond to needs with integrity and teamwork in a caring, people-first culture. This is an unarmed driving post requiring a valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential theft indicators, and/or policy violations, helping to deter unwanted activity through high visibility presence and timely communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with customer disputes, medical calls, and/or alarm activations as directed by post orders.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and/or shift documentation; coordinate with on-site management and local law enforcement when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
