Job Summary:

The Shift Leadassists in coordinating and monitoring activities of workers engaged in the production processby performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

• Supervisesemployees throughout the production areas andmonitorstheiractivities

• Coordinates daily activities of the production group with all departments to meet production and sanitation goals.

• Monitors and tracks performance of assigned lines and reports to supervision,maintenanceandQAany issues.

• Performs daily shift review meetings at the end of each shift with the oncoming shift to communicate performance and issues throughout the shift.

• Assistsin training hourly employees.

• Assurescompliance with all safety and good manufacturing practices.

• Communicateswith Supervisors and other Leadpersonnelany problems or concerns that surface during shift.

• Supportsspecial projects as needed.

• Performs attendance atbeginningof shift and monitors employees for GMPcompliance.

• Acquiresknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.

• Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safetytrainings.

Thisrole is non-exempt at $25.62 to $31.97 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing production environment with specific experience managing the production lines

• HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of2-3years supervisory experience preferably in food production

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders to elevated platforms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
