Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,950.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Performing basic installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN and server environments supporting DoD applications
  • Performing routine patching, useraccount management, and entrylevel troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in IT, cybersecurity, data science, IS, or computer science (ABET/CAE) Alternative: Associateand four years experience or six years experience
  • Active DoD topsecret (or higher)
  • Less than three years in basic systemadmin duties (CSWF Basic)
  • Either A+, Network+, CND, Security+, GSEC (or any equivalent DoD baseline)


Desired Skills

  • Proficiency with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP) and basic Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, HyperV) and basic VM provisioning
  • Ability to apply security patches, manage antivirus/endpoint protection, and perform routine backups
  • Familiarity with basic network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
  • Strong documentation skills for changecontrol and incident reports


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Domestic travel: Up to10% of the year (2weeks)
  • International travel: <5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
