As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and guide employees, vendors, and visitors with clear communication and a service-first approach. You will complete routine rounds, document security-related activity, and respond to concerns as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Staff access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor check-in and check-out, issuing temporary credentials, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
• Monitor gates and delivery access by coordinating with drivers, verifying shipping and receiving documentation as directed, controlling access to restricted areas, and reporting irregular activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing incident documentation, and supporting arriving responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access, identify hazards, and report maintenance or policy concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
