As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, verify credentials, issue and/or monitor badges, and guide visitors and drivers to the right areas. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering clear, respectful customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entrances and gates by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor and/or vendor logs, and directing traffic flow to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer activity by confirming appointments and documentation, recording seal numbers when required, and reporting irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarm activations, disputes at checkpoints, and requests from site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify security-related concerns, and document observations in reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
