Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication and reporting. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, observe for unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, malfunctioning lights, and/or blocked egress routes, and report findings to property management per site protocol.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, assistance with medical calls until help arrives, and documentation of actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and customer interactions, and communicate updates to on-site contacts and/or dispatch as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
