Procurement Engineer

Opportunity Overview: As a Procurement Engineer with WECTEC Staffing, you will work on site in Bridgman, MI. This is a full time, long-term contract reporting to a client supervisor.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Research industry standards such as IEEE, NEMA, ANSI and ASTM to determine technical requirements.
• Create and use documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Research vendor information on the internet.
• Perform Technical Evaluations of Replacement Items (EPRI NP-6406)
• Resolve Receipt Inspection discrepancies (EPRI NP-6629).
• Perform "Like for Like" and alternate replacement equivalency evaluations.
• Perform safety classification determinations (EPRI NP-6895)
• Perform commercial grade item dedication (EPRI NP-5652 & TR-102260).
• Understand lot formation and sampling plans as part of dedication testing.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering
• 8 years' experience in nuclear procurement, procurement engineering or material management
