Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Product Manager for our Seating Business Unit to join our team in Holland, MI.



As a Product Manager for Seating you will:



Lead the development and execution of product line management plans for the Seating category, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives. Leverage understanding of the market, customers, and competitors to drive product adoption and achieve revenue targets.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams:Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, supply chain, operations, finance, business resource center and marketing communications, to drive product success.
  • Conduct competitive analysis:Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities, informing product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Develop pricing strategies:Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Lead product planning:Lead the development of product plans for specific product lines, defining product roadmaps, launch timelines, and marketing strategies.
  • Manage product line activities: Manage all aspects of assigned product lines including product budgets, forecasts, profitability, for new and existing products or product lines, to optimize product and financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends:Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform product strategy and support decision-making.
  • Provide product expertise:Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product lines, presenting product information and providing guidance and support, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar
  • 5 years direct experience in Product Line Management, Category Management, or similar with Bachelor's Degree (3 years experience with Master's Degree)
  • Applicants must be able to work inHolland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years experience in Product Line Management, Category Management, or similar.
  • Direct experience within seating, furniture, or contract furniture strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience successfully launching new products, including crossfunctional collaboration and gotomarket execution.
  • Direct experience successfully managing product portfolios, including lifecycle management and strategic roadmap development.
  • Direct experience successfully presenting to customers and dealers, with strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, AI, and SAP.
