Description
Key Responsibilities - Training & Curriculum Development - Develop, update, and deliver training programs aligned with FAA, company, and customer requirements. - Conduct training on maintenance documentation, company policies, procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. - Administor training programs including scheduling, rosters, certificates, LMS data entry, and record maintenance. - Utilize modern training tools and technologies, including AI-supported content and video-based modules. - Serve as a mentor to new employees and support onboarding and qualification pathways. - Assist employees in meeting requirements for FAA Repairman Certificates. Continuous Improvement / Lean Facilitation - Build, train, guide, and facilitate CI/Lean teams across departments. - Identify process improvements related to efficiency, cost savings, safety, and quality. - Support CI teams in planning, procurement, implementation, and sustaining improvement projects. - Conduct inspections and evaluations of processes for compliance and effectiveness. - Provide performance metrics and data analysis to support decisionmaking. - Champion Lean principles and CI culture. Collaboration & Organizational Support - Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps. - Coordinate with internal trainers and external vendors to fulfill training requirements. - Stay current on training best practices, regulatory updates, and CI methodologies. - Partner with department leaders to resolve process deficiencies. - Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications - Valid FAA A&P Certificate. - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Experience in FAR 121 or 145 environments. - Completed General Familiarization training on at least one major aircraft type. - Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and ATA specifications. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong communication and publicspeaking skills. - Selfmotivated with strong leadership and teamwork abilities. - Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
