As a Security Officer - Gate Access Control in Burleson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will focus on access control by welcoming associates and visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and supporting visitor logs. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site leadership and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or deliveries, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic to appropriate docks and staging areas.
• Monitor and document the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers, including maintaining logs for arrivals, departures, and trailer or container activity as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site contacts and/or dispatch and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checking gates, parking areas, dock doors, and other access points. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
