Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, assist staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to clinical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity and/or hazards and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Support access control by monitoring authorized entry points, assisting with visitor directions, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol activity reports with clear, accurate details.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vaccines are required for hospital sites.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
