As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic; verify authorized entry, direct visitors to appropriate destinations, and/or report suspicious activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when possible and/or requesting assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services.
• Complete timely reports and daily activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
