Glider- Client-ScrumMaster-1 This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum team and is focused on serving the needs of the team to drive performance and growth. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team. This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team. They promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross functional potential. Key Responsibilities: Utilzing their knowledge to bring solutions to the various teams involved during the project. Effectively communicating all aspects of the project through governance and stakeholder engagement. Ability to identify risk and collaborate to mitigate dependencies. Primary Skill: Core Java Secondary Skill: J2EE Tertiary Skill: Oracle SQL / PLSQL Required Qualifications * Previous Banking experience required. * 5 years on the ability to guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices and develop their understanding of Agile/Waterfall principles. * 5 years on stakeholder management. Sets agenda and defines the artifacts needed for governance forums; Collects feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management. * 5 years facilitating Scrum ceremonies (for example, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives). * Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required. * Identifies risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve. * Solution Delivery Process Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the lifecycle and engages as required. Risk Management Identifies risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve * In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (for example, Pre-Planning/ Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs. * Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements * Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO). * Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team. Desired Qualifications * Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments. * Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders. * Enable the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including cross skilling across the team. * Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities. * Mentor more junior Scrum Masters.
