Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager with our mortgage loan corporation client in their McLean, VA location. This is a 4 month + contract and hybrid remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Project Manager responsible for monthly software release management processes
- Focus on code quality, execution of manual regression testing and support automated Junit(s)
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams and impacted users to coordinate environment change
- Point person for Incident Management including communications, resolution and root cause analysis
- Create technical and knowledge documentation, define and drive new procedures
- Participate in on-call schedule (supporting Northern Virginia time zone), and other related management and technical duties
Requirements:
3+ years of experience. Excellent communication written and verbal, Jira - Reporting- and strong JQL, Unix/Linux, business and technical Savvy, knows when to escalate, creating and initiating projects.
- ServiceNow. BA in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems - non-negotiable at this time.
- 3+ years of Technical Project Manager or Product Owner experience
- Technical background with 5+ years of experience developing & maintaining Java/Python software apps
- Unix troubleshooting and Shell scripting proficiency
- Experience with Jenkins end to end build, test, deploy and integration with GIT/Artifactory
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Preffered Qualifications:
- ServiceNow is highly preferred, prefer 3+ years of experience.
- Bachelor/Master Degree in information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related engineering field
- Experience with ServiceNow and Release Management practices
- Experience with Jira is a MUST
- Experience with Confluence Wiki
- Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
Pay rate range: $50.00 - $55.00 hourly
