Due to the onsite requirements of this position, applicants are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated work location (Chelmsford, MA). This role does not offer relocation.

Job Summary

ZOLL Medical is a global leader in acute critical care and resuscitation products. Our products are used every day to provide life-saving critical care.

The Director of Global Product Management will manage a part of ZOLL's product portfolio, with responsibility for the product vision, strategies, and roadmap. This position is upstream in nature and will be responsible for life cycle management of the product portfolio.

Essential Functions

  • Provide product life cycle management of assigned product line(s), including introduction of new products as well as product line rationalization.
  • Stay current on the use of assigned products in the global marketplace. Act as the Voice of Customer for the product portfolio, driving creation of customer requirements and proposing new product concepts. Drive creation of business models and champion new product proposals to senior leadership though the division prioritization process.
  • Develop, lead, and manage team to ensure proactively management of product lines.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders throughout the business - including R&D, channel marketing, sales, regulatory, operations - to communicate strategies and activities and ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate activities with other members of the product management team as necessary.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering or equivalent required
  • 10+ years years of relevant product and/or market experience. Upstream marketing experience in medical device industry and leadership of direct reports preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Individual must be able to work in a clinical environment to view product use and procedures and to support customer visits
  • Experience with successfully launching products.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
  • Experience in hiring, leading, and developing teams.
  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, complex projects/tasks.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and social skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Willing to travel up to 30% of time including internationally

The annual salary for this position is:

$181,000.00 to $200,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
