We are hiring a Vice President, IT Communications & Enterprise Change to serve as a strategic leader guiding IT transformation across the enterprise. This role uses clear, targeted and measurable communication to drive associate adoption of new technology-enabled business processes and tools partnering closely with IT, enterprise leaders and crossfunctional stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Own the enterprise IT communication strategy, supporting the successful execution of business priorities and multi-year transformation objectives.
  • Lead the enterprise-wide IT change communication strategy by translating complex transformation initiatives into clear, actionable and engaging messages that build understanding, drive behavior change and accelerate adoption.
  • Define and monitor communication and change-readiness KPIs for IT initiatives, including associate adoption, to support continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CIO and senior IT leadership team, shaping communication platforms and change management approaches to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Equip senior leaders throughout the enterprise with message frameworks, toolkits, and coaching that strengthen their visibility, confidence and consistency as active sponsors of change.
  • Segment stakeholders by impact and readiness, tailoring communication approaches to anticipate concerns, reduce resistance and guide groups through change with clarity and confidence.
  • Build trusted partnerships across IT, HR, Strategy and Business Unit leadership to ensure aligned messaging, coordinated change milestones and organizational readiness.
  • Partner with Corporate and BU Communications to align enterprise narratives, reduce noise and support coordinated sequencing of key messages.
  • Establish structured feedback loops (surveys, forums, focus groups) to identify resistance, gaps or misinformation early and drive proactive course correction.
  • Lead the communications team responsible for delivering high-quality leadership forums, town halls, intranet content, scripts, newsletters, stakeholder briefings and innovative new channels / formats that reinforce clarity, alignment and engagement across the enterprise.

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years of internal corporate communications experience, including change management and executive communications.
  • Ability to develop and lead a strategic communications plan to inform, engage and inspire associates and drive change management initiatives
  • Ability to listen, absorb, process and distill complex information from across a wide range of topics, programs and initiatives into clear, compelling, action-orientated communications using a broad range of media and formats
  • Experience building and developing trusted relationships at the executive level
  • Exceptionally strong writing and editing skills
  • Creative approaches to solve unstructured problems
  • Outstanding interpersonal, creative thinking and influencing skills
  • Integrity, credibility and confidence
  • Experience managing a team of high performing communications professionals

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 164,000 USD - 226,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
