The Sr. Director, Data Management leads our data strategy and oversees data management functions. They champion data quality, security, and accessibility across our Village. As a key leader, they manage a team of data professionals and collaborate with IT, clinical, operational, and business teammates to support data-driven decision-making, regulatory compliance, and innovation in healthcare delivery and business operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develop and execute the data management strategy in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. * Lead data management programs to ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems and business units. * Oversee delivery of innovative data management solutions for customers across Enterprise. * Manage a multi-functional team of data professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and innovative culture. * Collaborate with analytics, clinical informatics, data platforms, business intelligence, and AI/ML teams to enable advanced analytics and insights for improved patient care, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. * Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and internal security policies. * Champion data modernization and adoption of emerging data technologies, including AI initiatives. * Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for the Data Management function. * Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality, availability, security, and team performance. * Engage with stakeholders to identify data needs and prioritize strategic initiatives. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. * 12+ years of progressive experience in data management, data architecture, or data solutions delivery Here is what you can expect when you join our Village: What We'll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
