CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Section Manager to join our Water Team in Winter Springs, FL. This is your opportunity to guide multidisciplinary technical teams, champion innovative engineering approaches, and help deliver clean, safe, and reliable water systems for communities today and into the future.



What You'll Do:

    Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to water infrastructure projects, such as water/wastewater treatment and stormwater management-from initial assessment through planning and design
  • Manage water/wastewater projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee project delivery and project financials, including scope, budget, schedule, subcontractor payments, and client relationships, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Collaborate with Water team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goals
  • Effectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical water infrastructure initiatives
  • Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phase


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline required
  • Minimum of 5 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred
  • Water/wastewater experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in site investigation, remediation, compliance, permitting, or ecological restoration
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgency
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • Experience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processes
  • Active participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$115,000 - $135,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
