As a Security Officer - Unarmed Campus Rover in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. At Allied Universal, you will work as part of a reliable, agile team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and other security-related duties within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions and assistance, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, waiting areas, and other public spaces.
• Complete reports and maintain logs of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have Hospital: Vaccines experience.
• Have Hospital: Morgue experience.
• Have Hospital: Restrain Individuals experience.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
